The Adventures of Alice down the Drain Pipe! and other tales... [July 7-11 Dartmouth Sportsplex] [Registration forms]

 

 

 

Instructor Jacqueline Poole brings a combination of great skill and experience to our claymation program. A graduate from the NSCC Screen Arts program Jacqueline has worked on the TV show Poko II. During our March Break program she facilitated the making of The Conversation with help from Emma, one of the campers. [VIEW]

Claymation, Legomation, Animation and storytelling for the big screen! Working in groups and on individual projects, campers will have a chance to produce animated short films.

Have a great story to tell? Begin the week with creating comics - develop characters and stories. Then take these great ideas and transpose them to the screen. Learn all aspects of production - from story idea to photographing and filming to editing. Create special effects and add original sound effects. At week's end there will be a brief introduction to computer animation.

Imagine if Alice slipped down the drainpipe and met up with Mario and Luigi! Join the production crew and bring imaginaton to life on the big screen!

The group production will introduce campers to a range of techniques that include stage lighting and special effects such as 'bluescreen'.
