1. Can I take the Video Games I make home?

Yes: At the end of the session you will take home a CD with any games or other digital projects on it. You will be able to run your games on your home computer if you have a recent version of windows installed, like Windows XP or Windows Vista.

2. Can I take the robot I made home?

Robots: You will have a chance to build one or more robots using Lego Mindstorms and Mindstorms NXT robotic building materials. These robots you will NOT be able to take home.

But we do encourage you to take lots of pictures and videos of your robot(s) and these you take home on the CD you receive at the end of the week!

3. I am fifteen years old. Am I too old for camp?

Camper Age Range: We get requests from prospective campers of all ages from 5 - 17. We accept campers who are at least 5 or 8 years old and no older than 15. Fifteen is definitely not too old. Each week and each group has a different make up. Many of the programs we offer have not been offered in this region, so we do tend to attract some senior as well as junior high students.

Grow With Our Programs: We will be adding programs each year and growing with our campers! So if you get started in our programs now, you will find other more advanced programs next year and the year after that.

4. I just want to make video games. Do I have to go swimming too?

Activity Sessions: We do schedule breaks between learning sessions. We schedule mini tournaments, swim sessions and outdoor games and activities through the day.

Options: We know that many campers attend our programs specifically for the arts and technology topics. If there is a particular activity you do not want to do, we are flexible. We will find some alternative.

5. Will there be other girls there?

Number of Girls: Our programs do attract a greater number of boys than girls. Generally girls represent about 30% of our campers. We are seeing more and more girls in our programs all the time. In fact we have had programs with equal numbers of girls to boys!

We are always open to new ideas - any suggestions you have to help us attract more girls to our program would be greatly appreciated!

6. Will I get to take home the clay things I make?

Clay Creations: Yes, the clay things you create at camp are yours to take home! And if you make a Claymation movie you will also get to take home your movie on a CD.

6. I want to come all summer. Will I get to do different things each week or will alot of it be the same each week?

Multiple Weeks of Camp: Our sessions are designed so that each week is different. And as your abilities progress you will get a chance to do more advanced challenges.
