Game Design Camps. Which one? Let the Games Begin or RPG Game Design Camp

Let the Games Begin! In this camp the focus is on designing 2D games, a lot like Pacman or Paper Mario. Types of games include mazes, platformers, scrolling shooters,  paddle ball games and other 2D games.

You will learn about the different things that go into game creation. You will design the characters, draw the backgrounds, learn about strategic game design and be introduced to ‘programming’ and writing scripts in the level 2 camp.

RPG Game Design Camp is game design with the emphasis on the story (Role Playing Games).  In this camp you will create your own game story and plan a quest. You will have lots of opportunity to create dialogs between characters, set up many levels, towns, buildings or worlds that your characters will move through. Some popular RPG games are the Pokemon games for Gameboy.

You will also learn how to draw your own characters, objects and backgrounds to use in your game.
